My Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic style is collaborative and integrative. I use a blend of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, or Gestalt interventions to help clients regain control of their lives, tailoring each therapeutic experience to match their needs and preferences.

Is it Time to Take the Stress Off?

Let's talk about it. I am here to listen, and I can help.

I'm Haile Reeve, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and founder of Take the Stress Off. I built my practice around one core idea: to provide a safe place where everyone could feel welcomed with open arms. I want every person to feel that they are accepted and free to speak whatever thoughts happen to cross their mind. There are no judgments here. I am passionate about offering a healing environment where individuals can fully explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

My dedication to collaborative counseling is deeply rooted in my nomadic upbringing and personal mental health challenges. My practice has no such thing as taboo, sin, or judgment.

I welcome clients from all walks of life. Still, I want to welcome those from the service industry, those with nomadic lifestyles (van-lifers, snowbirds, seasonal workers, travel bloggers, adventure photographers), and those seeking a nonjudgmental space to be heard.

Therapy Styles

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT):

Type of therapeutic lens that helps you manage intense emotions and improve how you handle stress. It focuses on teaching practical skills to build better relationships and increase self-acceptance

  • Gestalt:

Interventions focus on helping you become more aware of your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. They encourage you to experience and understand your emotions in the present moment to improve how you handle challenges and relationships. Moving through strong emotions You move forward with role-play, exaggeration, and dramatization techniques.

  • Person Centered Therapy:

Counseling approach where you are the focus, and the therapist supports you in discovering your own solutions and strengths. It creates a safe and accepting environment where you can explore your feelings and grow at your own pace.
